The Stock Market Paycheck

Is not an indicator, a signal service, or a shortcut. It is a trading discipline and execution framework built around one core idea: Consistent income comes from structured behavior — not prediction.

Author of SMP

Michael Batts is a Certified Professional Trader and author of The Stock Market Paycheck. With a passion for helping others unlock the potential of the stock market, he focuses on teaching individuals how to generate consistent income through options trading. His book simplifies complex strategies into clear, practical steps, guiding readers to build confidence, reduce risk, and turn trading into a sustainable source of income.

Before dedicating himself fully to trading and education, Michael spent more than 30 years as an Executive Deal Lead and Client Solution Executive, specializing in networking design and sales for Fortune 200 companies. That career sharpened his ability to solve problems, design complex systems, and communicate clearly—skills he now applies to trading and teaching.

Today, Michael blends his professional trading expertise with his passion for education, empowering others to approach the stock market not as a gamble, but as a paycheck—one that supports long-term financial independence.

SMP Teaches Traders

At its core, SMP answers the most important question in trading:

How should I behave in the market?

It defines when trading is appropriate, when standing aside is the right decision, and how to manage risk and exits responsibly — even under pressure.

This is why SMP resonates with serious traders. It doesn’t promise excitement. It promises structure.

  • Trade with intent, not impulse

  • Follow rules instead of emotions

  • Think in terms of paychecks, not home runs

  • Build a repeatable daily process that prioritizes discipline and consistency

Structure. Momentum. Precision.

SEE~FSM™ (Signal – Execute – Exit with Fisher Signal Momentum) is a visual execution system designed to support disciplined trading frameworks like SMP.

It does not tell you what to trade. It does not predict markets. It does not replace strategy or judgment.

SEE~FSM focuses on one thing:

Helping traders see high-quality execution moments clearly — on the chart, in real time.

It translates complex momentum and structure behavior into:

  • Clean, visual trade signals

  • Objective signal grading

  • Clear moments to engage — and moments to stand aside

This allows disciplined traders to apply their rules with less hesitation and less second-guessing.

Built to Support SMP — Not Override It

SEE~FSM was designed to respect structured trading philosophies like SMP.

It reinforces patience, not activity.
It highlights when not to trade.
It supports a paycheck mindset.
It reduces emotional decision-making at execution.

Where SMP teaches how to think,
SEE~FSM helps you see when to act.

SEE~FSM & SMP‍ ‍

Why SEE~FSM Exists‍ ‍

SEE~FSM didn’t start as a product.

It started as a shared question:

If SMP works so well conceptually, why is execution still so hard in the moment?

With a background in technology and systems thinking, Dennis began building tools to translate SMP principles into visual decision support — something traders could see, not just remember.

What began as personal tooling evolved into a structured signaling framework built to:

  • Honor discipline

  • Remove ambiguity

  • Prioritize consistency over excitement

SEE~FSM exists for one reason:

To help disciplined traders execute disciplined plans — more consistently.

No hype. No secrets. Just clarity.
